Pastor Dose grew up in Storm Lake, Iowa. He is the oldest of four children. He attended St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. He was baptized, confirmed, married, and ordained in this church. He went to Storm Lake High School then after graduation from high school in 1995 went onto Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. He played 4 years of college football at Buena Vista. It was at Buena Vista that he met the love of his life, Rebecca. After graduating from Buena Vista in 1999, Pastor and Rebecca moved to St. Louis, MO so he could attend seminary at Concordia Seminary. Pastor’s vicarage August of 2001- July of 2002 was at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano, WI. His first call after graduation from the seminary in 2003 was to South Shore Trinity Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake, MN. After serving there for 5 years, he is now the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia and has been here 6 years in April. Pastor and Rebecca have 4 children, Jonathan, Timothy, Lydia, and Hannah. Pastor is an avid ice fisherman, loves to hunt and work out as well as read books on Lutheran theology. Cyclones or Hawkeyes? Hawkeyes.
